Technology continues to drive forward. In fact, driverless buses are now on the road right here in Scotland. This session will get your pupils thinking about exciting jobs and opportunities they could do in the future.
So, what's involved in Driverless Car?
Play with LEGO MINDSTORMS© robots. Everybody loves LEGO©, and robots are pretty cool too! As part of this activity, your pupils will program robots to simulate driverless car technology.
Teach your class vital STEM skills. Driverless Car aims to equip young people with basic programming and computing skills. By the end of our sessions, your pupils will have built new coding skills and be more comfortable working with tech.
Get your pupils thinking about careers. They say that the best way to learn is to ‘do’. And once young people have figured out how to work with the latest tech, they’ll want more! This session will help pupils identify their skills and strengths and how they relate to the world of work.
