We're more than a website

In school

My World of Work is part of the career service offered by SDS. Every state secondary school across Scotland has access to a careers adviser. They give advice, information and guidance to pupils from P7 to S6.

Our careers advisers will help school pupils develop the skills they need to make choices and manage their future career.

After school

You’ll find careers advisers in our centres across the country. They’re here to support you, no matter what age or stage you’re at.

Call 0800 917 8000 to speak with a member of our helpline team. Some members of the team are careers advisers and can chat to you straight away. If the person who answers the phone is not a careers adviser, they’ll arrange for you to have a phone call with one.

Our helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
